A Block Action Team (BAT) is a group of neighbors who:
* Connect: Know and socialize with each other
* Care: Watch out for those around them, help each other, and prevent crime
* Prepare: Work together to be ready in case of emergencies

Los Altos Community Foundation and the City of Los Altos support neighborhood coordinators (BAT Leaders) through the BAT Program. We’ll connect you with community resources and you’ll be eligible to apply for funding for neighborhood improvement initiatives.
